Summer School Head Teacher
Would you like to spend this summer in a fun way, in one of the most fascinating parts of the Balkans? Are you into sports, outdoor activities, arts and interested to work with children aged 5 to 16 years old?
We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic and energetic leaders who want to make our English Summer Schools and Camps more fun.
If you believe you are the one, join us for Anglia Summer School Kosovo starting from 1st of July to 25th of August 2023.
Tasks and responsibilities
o Lead the Summer School Staff Training/Meetings before the summer school
o Delegating tasks and roles to the teachers and interns
o Working with other counselors to plan various activities.
o Organizing groups and instructing campers
o Leading/guiding specific activities/games
o Following& implementing the daily agenda and suggesting adjustments where necessary
o Provide positive guidance and responsive caregiving, tending to children when they express need.
o Create and coordinate safe and enjoyable activities for all campers, and actively participate in all aspects of the campers’ day.
o Lead daily staff meetings after each day of the summer school
o Be able to walk, bend, stand, squat or sit on the floor (with children) throughout an 8-hour day.
o Be able to walk up and down steps several times each day.
o Be able to physically respond quickly in an emergency.
o Be actively engaged and involved with children each day; including planning daily outdoor time in all ranges of temperatures or humidity levels, subject to safety guidelines.
What we require:
– Native or close to native English proficiency
– Work experience with kids
– Ability to lead/work with a diverse team
– Passion/Interest in sports/outdoor activities, arts
– Ability to communicate and work with a variety of age and skill levels.
– Passion, energy and enthusiasm
– Have a warm, supportive attitude toward children and families of all cultures.
– Work experience in camps is an asset
