We are seeking for dynamic and experienced Head Teachers to lead our English Summer School program for kids 4-16 years old!

Position 1: Head Teacher for kids (4-7 years old group age)

Position 2: Head Teacher for teens ( 8-16 years old group age)

Tasks and responsibilities

o Lead the Summer School Staff Training/Meetings before the summer school

o Develop and implement an innovative curriculum focused on English language learning, incorporating interactive activities, games, and projects.

o Lead a team of enthusiastic teachers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities

o Organizing groups and instructing campers

o Leading/guiding specific activities/games

o Following& implementing the daily agenda and suggesting adjustments where necessary

o Collaborate with parents, staff, and management to ensure a smooth and successful summer school experience for all participants.

o Create and coordinate safe and enjoyable activities for all campers, and actively participate in all aspects of the campers’ day.

o Lead daily staff meetings after each day of the summer school

Physical Requirements

o Be able to lift children up to 50 pounds.

o Be able to walk, bend, stand, squat or sit on the floor (with children) throughout an 8-hour day.

o Be able to walk up and down steps several times each day.

o Be able to physically respond quickly in an emergency.

o Be actively engaged and involved with children each day; including planning daily outdoor time in all ranges of temperatures or humidity levels, subject to safety guidelines.

What we require:

– Native or close to native English proficiency

– Work experience with kids of the specific group age you are applying for

– Ability to lead/work with a diverse team

– Passion/Interest in sports/outdoor activities, arts

– Ability to communicate and work with a variety of age and skill levels.

– Passion, energy and enthusiasm

– Have a warm, supportive attitude toward children and families of all cultures.

– Work experience in camps is an asset

Duration and work schedule: 24 June 2024 – 25 August 2024 – 8.00-16.00

Compensation:

Financial compensation of 180E net/weekly

Breakfast, lunch and snack at school

Transport to/from the summer school location
