About the internship

Looking to gain valuable work experience this summer — while having fun at one of the best summer camps in Kosovo?

If you enjoy sports, outdoor activities, arts, or simply love working with kids, this is your chance to be part of something exciting and meaningful.

Duration 5 days · 09:00–15:30
Eligibility 16+ years old
This is an unpaid internship offered as part of our summer school staff training programme. Interns receive a certificate, training, meals and transport (see below).
Section 02

Who can apply

The internship is open to enthusiastic and motivated young people who want hands-on experience working with children in a creative, multilingual environment:

  • High school graduates
  • University students currently enrolled in their studies
  • University graduates
  • Aged 16 or older at the start of the summer camp
Section 03

Tasks and responsibilities

As a Summer Camp intern, you will work alongside our experienced teaching team and play an active role across the camp week:

  • Attend the Summer School staff training and meetings before the camp begins
  • Co-lead a group of approximately 10–17 pupils within one of the group ages
  • Lead and guide specific activities (sports, arts, outdoor games and more)
  • Follow and implement the daily agenda, suggesting adjustments where necessary
  • Provide positive guidance and responsive caregiving, tending to children when they express need
  • Create and maintain a tidy, pleasant and inviting atmosphere in which children feel comfortable and secure
  • Attend daily staff meetings after each day of the summer school

What we require

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Fluent in English (both spoken and written)
  • Passion or strong interest in sports, outdoor activities, or the arts
  • Genuine interest in working with children and young people
  • Positive attitude, energy, and a high level of enthusiasm
  • Ability to work in a team and adapt to a dynamic camp environment

An Official Internship Certificate from Anglia Academy upon successful completion.

Meals included

Breakfast and lunch are provided every day at the summer school.

Organised transport

Organised transport to and from the summer school location each day.

Section 06

Schedule and duration

The internship lasts 5 days, running from 09:00 to 15:30 each day, and is offered as an unpaid opportunity.

Interns will be assigned to one of their preferred weeks of the Summer Camp. Specific weeks and the daily agenda will be confirmed once your application is accepted and after the staff training and meetings prior to the camp.
