Accreditation and credentials

Exams by Anglia Examinations UK are linked to CEFR (Common European Framework for Languages), which is the internationlly recognised standard for determining language skills

Anglia is accredited by AIM Qualifications and Assessment Group  or the National Authority for Qualifications in England, led by Ofqual (Regulatory Office of International Qualifications and Tests) which serves to standardise qualifications in order to maintain confidence in high quality tests.

Ofqual aims to preserve standards and ensure confidence in the quality of qualifications in England including GCSE, A-levels, AS levels and professional and technical qualifications, including AIM Qualifications and Assessments.

Students who successfully pass the Exam from Anglia at C2 Masters level automatically benefit from additional access to UCAS (The Universities and Colleges Admissions Service) , which operates the application process to all British universities. Angliais one of very few ESOL standardising tests that offers such opportunities.

What do the standardized tests from Anglia Examinations England include?

Exams at all levels include evaluation in 3 basic English language skills such as reading, writing and comprehension. An addiotional Speaking exam is optional and can be added depending on the request of the institution where English language Qualifications are required. reading, writing listening. Speaking it is optional and can be done depending on the requirements of the institution where the proof of English proficiency is requested.

Examination process

The tests from Anglia Examinations England are administered in electronic format (computer-based) in two versions as follows:

• Online at the testing center (Pristina)
• Online remotely (additional fee of €30)

Information about the testing session is sent to the candidate's email after registration.

The test is conducted through the Cirrus testing platform, and before candidates take the test, they will receive information about their login credentials for accessing the platform. Candidates will also receive a user guide for the testing platform prior to the test session.

Passability of testing

The passing of the test is based on the average score obtained from the four included skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

Based on the result the passing grades are as follows: PASS, MERIT AND DISTINCTION(see table below).

***If the result of one of the adjectives (reading, writing listening) is below 40% then the test is not passed even if the average results are above 50%.

Results and Certificates

The results are sent electronically to the email provided during the application.
Duration of results:

• Regular procedure – 4-6 weeks after the testing session
• Fast Track Service – 8-10 working days after the completion of testing – Additional fee of 40 euros.

Note: The duration of receipt of certificates varies, and may take up to 8 weeks after completion of testing.

The electronic certificate can be delivered in a shorter time frame upon a special request from the candidate with an additional fee of 10 euros.
